In one of the most conservative states in the country, it’s important for local queer and trans folks to have a place where they can express themselves without the fear of judgement at best or violence at worst.

The Fargo Moorhead Pride Collective and Community Center first opened in October of 2000, serving as a hub for working class queer people in the Fargo-Moorhead area to feel safety, connect with each other, and access critical resources.

We particularly center working class racialized queer/trans people due to the white hegemony that the larger community exists in, especially in the predominately white cities of Fargo and Moorhead.
